WAYS OF KNOWING
This program led by Dr. Joshua Levi Ian Gentzke prepares students to be global citizens by introducing them to diverse ways of seeing, understanding, and interacting with the world around them through philosophy and global religious studies.
The main aim of this program is to broaden students' knowledge by exploring multiple cultural perspectives, fostering an appreciation for difference, and ultimately, helping them articulate and connect with their own values.
Generally, each session consists of reading and discussing a short text together and then creating a concise written or artistic reflection that expresses their informed opinion on a given topic. It's a unique opportunity, and his students have found the course to be personally transformative!
This class is offered both to individuals and small groups and tailored to the participant’s ability and interests.
