JungEun Lee is an interdisciplinary artist (the University of Chicago, MFA) whose works have been shown nationally and internationally through a wide range of venues, such as museums, galleries, art festivals, symposiums, and alternative non-profit spaces, including The Smart Museum of Art (University of Chicago), the Hunter Museum of American Art, Design Center Pusan, the Zhou B Art Center, Andrew Bae Gallery, Greeley Square Gallery, Chicago Art Open, and the Bing Play Symposium (Stanford University). She has also been directing, curating, lecturing, and mentoring art workshops, exhibitions, courses, and classes (portfolio prep) internationally for over two decades. Her teaching approach draws from her own artistic practice and background in art therapy (Northwestern University), art education & educational psychology (NTC for upper school), and different disciplines from eastern/western and traditional/contemporary art.

 

Nicole Percifield recently graduated from Yale School of Music with a diploma in Opera Performance. While at Yale, Nicole taught voice lessons for Yale College and for Yale Glee Club. Her students won numerous auditions, resulting in leads in numerous main-stage school productions, a-cappella groups, and summer stock. Nicole teaches voice, beginner piano, and theory, encompassing a wide variety of musical genres, and loves working with all age groups. Nicole’s lessons are always tailored to her student’s needs, while incorporating basic theory, ear training, musicality, and expression. She brings all of her performance energy to each lesson, creating an engaged, focused environment, and nurtures a love and passion for music in all of her students.

 

Marissa Joy Ganz is the Founder & Artistic Director of N.Y. Broadway Training Programs, a full-serviced Musical Theatre and Dance program offering Broadway master classes, workshops, weekly classes, private lessons, summer camps & broadway intensives, all taught by Broadway Professionals! Her students, ranging from children to professionals, have appeared on Broadway, National Tours, Film & T.V, and more. Marissa offers private coaching for all levels of students. Private Coaching is available in Vocal Technique, Vocal Coaching, Acting, Dancing (all styles), audition prep, professional consultation and personal mentoring. Lessons are tailored toward student's individual needs and goals.

 

Katherine Peterson, Ph.D. is a licensed educational psychologist with a strong background in psychoeducational assessment, educational consultation and counseling. Using a combination of interviews, observations, and standardized testing, she identifies a child's unique learning style and strives to help the family and the student understand and appreciate relative strengths and weaknesses. Her specialties include the diagnosis of learning disabilities/disorders, social and emotional problems, behavioral challenges, ADHD, and giftedness. Services also include parent consultation and student counseling regarding these issues.

 

Hallowell/Todaro ADHD Center provides a range of support centered around Dr. Hallowell’s strength-based philosophy toward ADHD. This concept—that ADHD comes with as many strengths as it does challenges—disputes the traditional idea of ADHD as merely a “deficit disorder.” When managed well, ADHD can be an incredible gift associated with many positive traits like creativity, entrepreneurship, warmth, and resilience, among others.

 

Jennifer Louie, PhD, is a psychologist in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. Dr. Louie works with children, adolescents and their families on addressing anxiety and mood related issues. Her specializations include anxiety, OCD, trauma, selective mutism, behavioral problems, early childhood development and parenting. Dr. Louie values using evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM), and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). In addition to providing individual, family and group therapy in typical outpatient settings, Dr. Louie has worked with children in intensive outpatient programs as well as school-based programs. She enjoys working closely with families to figure out the best parenting tools and coping skills for each family’s specific needs. Dr. Louie strongly believes in early intervention and nurturing children’s inherent resilience.

 

Dr. Aileen Mosig provides comprehensive neuropsychological and educational assessments and counseling to children, adolescents, couples and families. Dr. Mosig’s approach is solution-focused, strength-based, and client-centered, with consideration and appreciation for the depth of individual and cultural diversity. She has a background in humanistic, cognitive behavioral, behavioral medicine, existential and Eastern psychological traditions. In addition, Dr. Mosig has experience leading groups through workshops on life skills development, anxiety management, anger management, chronic pain & stress management, meditation, relaxation training, and positive thinking.

Dr. Mosig’s area of passion is helping gifted and twice-exceptional children and families. She is active in the gifted community and has had success with her own gifted children, one of whom is twice exceptional, whom she has helped overcome severe sensory difficulties and to excel socially. Dr. Mosig is available to make suggestions/referrals with regard to gifted and homeschooling resources.

 

The Pacific Anxiety Group (PAG) was founded by Stanford-trained clinical psychologists with expertise in the treatment of anxiety, stress, and depression for child and adult clients across the lifespan. They provide compassionate, effective treatment to help clients overcome obstacles and lead more fulfilling lives. PAG has offices throughout the Bay Area and offers video therapy appointments throughout California.

 

Briggs Occupational Therapy focuses on building fine and gross motor skills with a solid foundation in sensory integration in a fun and motivating way. Sessions take place in the home or school setting to ensure carryover and follow through in those environments.

 

Right Fit Admissions Consulting help students and their families learn more about the private school landscape and aid in identifying a list of "right fit" schools. RFAC helps them prepare and navigate each step of the complex admissions process. While they primarily assist students applying to middle and high school, we also assist families applying to preschool through elementary grades.

 

Maya Sissoko is an educator, parent advisor, and educational consultant who works 1-1 with children and parents. She specializes in making learning fun, engaging, challenging, and meaningful for children ages 4-11. Maya has experience meeting a wide range of educational needs and with a focus on gifted learners. Social-emotional learning is at the foundation of all of her work. She was a lead teacher at the Nueva School for 15 years and previously worked at Bank Street School for Children in New York City. She has one son who was a Nueva student for ten years and currently attends Harvard Law School. 

 

The top 1-on-1 kids coding classes. Breakout Mentors work with gifted students, challenging them to keep advancing over months and years. Students participate in a weekly 90 minute session on Zoom, or meet with the mentor on Stanford or UC Berkeley campuses. Breakout Mentors offer all types of personalized coding instruction.

 

Stephany Snyder offers guided, 1:1 individualized math instruction using Making Math Real strategies that make math accessible to all learners. She is available to teach the full scope of math levels through Algebra II or to focus on specific math skill development. Sessions held via Zoom.
